My question is what is the difference between getting a Pardon vs. Expunging your criminal record? When you have a guilty verdict on your record, and can not receive an Expungment.

There are several differences between a pardon and an expungement in Florida. Expungements come from the courts and are not given to anyone who has a conviction. Pardons come from the governor and only apply to convictions. A pardon does not seal or expunge a record, nor does it make a person eligible for sealing or expungement.

@Anthony, sounds like what you need to do is apply for an exemption, i am a CNA and i was granted and exemption that covers my license, and it allows me to work as a CNA as a felon
